PATCH PROGRAMS

Troop/Group Patch Programs

Looking for something new to do with your troop or group? Try one of these patch programs developed by the council. All you need is Adobe Acrobat Reader (a free utility you can get from Adobe) and then you can download and print the program materials. Patches can be ordered through the council shop. These patches should be placed on the back of a girl's sash or vest.

Beary Good Cookies- Encourage girl participation in the Cookie Program and help them gain an understanding of the entire Cookie Program process.

Cookies to Careers- Girls discover the relationship between the Cookie Program, the Girl Scout Leadership Development Program, and the world of business.


Brownie, Junior, and STUDIO 2B Member Patches

Archbishop Patch - This patch was developed by a group of volunteers to promote religious recognitions and to provide a learning opportunity to explore the religious history of the Catholic church in our area. While this patch program does focus on the religious history of the Catholic Faith, this patch can be earned by Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of any faith.

Be Your Best
- On March 12, Girl Scouts of the USA celebrates “Be Your Best Day.” This is a day for all Girl Scouts to consider and celebrate how being their personal best – at whatever they do – can impact our community.

Celebrate Diversity - Develop girls’ appreciation for the cultures around them.

Do-Dad Pin - Encourage male involvement in Girl Scout troops/groups, helping men spend quality time with their Girl Scouts.

Family - Stimulate family interest in and knowledge of the Girl Scout Leadership Development Program, promoting a better understanding of the way girls grow strong with Girl Scouts.

Feed My Starving Children Patch Project
- This program raise girls’ awareness of world hunger and malnutrition and encourage them to explore local and world relief efforts.

Get With the Land - This patch program from GSUSA connects girls and volunteers with public lands near them. Girls earn the patch by participating in service and exploration in collaboration with federal natural resources agencies. The Get With the Land patch is part of the Linking Girls to the Land initiative.

Getting to Know Us - This patch program helps girls understand, appreciate, and respect people’s similarities and differences. This is a great way for girls to share with one another, letting others get to know them.

Girl Scouts Yesterday, Today and Always Patch - This patch program promotes a deeper understanding of the rich history that forms the Girl Scout program of today. It encourages girls to develop new skills and make a positive impact on the future.

Music Shall Live - Explore music through song, dance, and rhythm instruments.

Peacemaker - Learn more about resolving conflict and creating a peaceful community while focusing on feeling good about yourself.

Song - Promote girls’ self expression, explore diversity, and provide service to others through songs.

Super Troop/Group - Plan a well-rounded Girl Scout year by using the girl/adult partnership, encouraging troop/group decision-making, and evaluating activities based on the Girl Scout Promise and Law.

Walk a Mile in Another Girl's Shoes - Explore the differences and similarities among people by learning about physical, cognitive, and learning disabilities.

World Friendship - Encourage girls to think, share, and learn about international friendship and make international friendship an ongoing part of troop/group programs.
