What do Girl Scouts do? Anything they want! From rock climbing to orienteering, from specialty programs like GirlSports or Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) to math and science programs like ZAP! and Science in the City, you can get a taste of what you like to do.
- Want leadership and community service experience? Complete one of our award programs (Gold, Silver, and Bronze). Earn the Gold Award and you become eligible for scholarship money for college. - Are you a wiz on a Web site? Would you like to be? Then our computer programs are a perfect fit. Webtastics will introduce you to web terminology and give you a chance to create your own Web site.
- Want to work at the zoo? How about star gazing for a living? Explore careers in science and technology with our Science in the City and ZAP! programs.
- Enjoy creative writing or the arts? You can join the staff of Physhbowl, our council magazine (check out our latest issue), or our traditional Hmong dance groups.
- If you want to go further from home, check out destinations, the Girl Scout travel program for girls in grades 6-12. destinations will take you across the United States and maybe even into another country.
